NaNoWriMo: Day One – plus Bibliophilia!

I don’t stay up until midnight and start writing right away on 1st November, but I did start writing pretty soon after I woke up. Also attended the first of my regional group’s write-ins, which was good fun as always – and productive as well. So far, I’ve done 2405 words today. It’s been fairly simple – started with a dream sequence about dinosaurs running around in London, then some background into one of my main characters.

Am also posting today to promote a new online writing magazine, Bibliophilia: the first issue became available today and can be found here. I’m currently contributing book reviews for this magazine – and for this issue, I came up with a short story as well. Besides that, the first issue will teach you the benefits of freewriting, how NaNoWriMo works, whether you should use Scrivener or YWriter5, and provide poetry, prompts and puns into the bargain – so check it out!

About velociraptor256

Hi, my name's Richard. I created this blog to talk about my interests - and I have quite a few of those. I love zoology in general, herpetology in particular (especially snakes!), writing (have won National Novel Writing Month seven times so far, plus three Camp Nanowrimos), reading, astronomy, palaeontology, and travel. Thank you for coming to my blog, and I hope you find something that interests you here!
