So far my only success in competition entering – this story was a runner up in the Cazart competition in May 2013!
In 1971, a one-in-a-million fossil was discovered in Mongolia: two dinosaurs, a
Velociraptor and a Protoceratops, who apparently died locked together in the middle of a
ferocious struggle. This story attempts to re-create how this came about.
Written as my assignment for the 2014 Futurelearn Start Writing Fiction course.
This story is part of the short story collection Sand, Sea, Zombies by Blackpool & Fylde Wrimos and Lancashire & Cumbria Wrimos.
I also contribute writing to the online magazine Bibliophilia, which can be found here.
Loved the action in Final Fight, nice fast pace, kept me hooked till the end even though I knew what the outcome would be.

Thank you! I feel a bit bad about giving it away but I wanted to put the whole thing in context.
